Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a Cabinet meeting in Gurugram, followed by strong remarks directed at the opposition, intensifying the ongoing political exchange at the national level.

Addressing the media after the बैठक, Saini highlighted the developments and decisions discussed during the Cabinet session, while also turning his focus toward political discourse surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He stated that over the past eleven years, the Prime Minister has brought transformative changes across the country, emphasizing progress in governance, development, and welfare initiatives. According to him, these changes have significantly impacted the lives of citizens and strengthened the nation’s growth trajectory.

Launching a sharp attack on opposition parties, Saini questioned their stance and rhetoric. “Can you cite even a single instance where they have praised him?” he asked, alleging that the opposition has consistently avoided acknowledging any positive contributions.

He further criticized the language used by opposition leaders, claiming that their statements have become increasingly negative. He remarked that the opposition now relies solely on derogatory expressions against the Prime Minister, indicating a lack of substantive issues to raise.

Drawing a comparison with past governments, Saini pointed out that opposition parties had several decades in power to bring about change. He said they were given ample time—over 55 years—to transform the country and improve the lives of the poor, but failed to do so, suggesting that this has led to growing public dissatisfaction.

“The people are rejecting them; the entire nation is rejecting them,” he asserted, expressing confidence in the current leadership and its acceptance among citizens.

The Cabinet meeting in Gurugram comes at a time when political narratives are intensifying across the country, with leaders from both sides engaging in strong exchanges ahead of upcoming elections. The Chief Minister’s remarks reflect the continuing war of words between the ruling establishment and opposition parties.

Saini’s statements underline the deepening political divide, as debates over governance, performance, and public perception continue to shape the national discourse.
