Haryana CM Hails Sharmila Dhankar’s Commonwealth Games Gold Medal

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini congratulated para-athlete Sharmila Dhankar after her gold medal-winning performance in the women’s shot put at the Commonwealth Games. The Chief Minister praised her achievement, saying she has brought pride to both Haryana and the nation.

Speaking in Chandigarh, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini extended his best wishes to Sharmila Dhankar for her outstanding performance.

He said:

“First of all, I would like to congratulate and extend best wishes to Haryana’s para-athlete Sharmila Dhankar, who won the gold medal in women’s shot put and brought laurels to the state as well as the country.”

The Chief Minister described her success as an inspiration for aspiring athletes and a proud moment for Haryana.

Saini also expressed confidence that other athletes representing Haryana at the Commonwealth Games would continue delivering strong performances.

He stated that he hopes more athletes from the state will excel during the competition and contribute to India’s medal tally.
